If You Love Weather And Radio, We Have Something For You To Do...
Every Monday through Friday morning, Country 1260 takes calls from area weather watchers and gives a report for the listening area.
The duties of a Country 1260 Weather Watcher simply include calling the station and giving information regarding morning temperature and sky conditions, yesterday’s high and low temperatures, and if any precipitation fell in the area. Reports of hazardous weather are also encouraged when conditions warrant.
We have found that our local listeners enjoy hearing what other local people report in different parts of South Dakota and northcentral Nebraska. Most of the current weather watchers call early in the morning, but interested persons can call at any time between 6:00-10:00 a.m. |
