Gregory reminders for next week

Coming up on Monday, December 17th, will be the Gregory Elementary School Concert starting at 7pm at the Gregory Auditorium. Come out and enjoy the sounds of the season! Bankwest in Gregory will hold a Holiday Open House on December 19th and December 20th with refreshments and door prizes for you to sign up for both days next week!

Stop by the Black Lab on Saturday!

A fun night is planned for this Saturday at the Black Lab on Main Street in Winner! The Outlaw DJ will be playing your favorite tunes tomorrow night from 8:30 pm to closing! Get there early for their happy hour specials and enjoy the NFL games that will be taking place on Saturday as well at the Black Lab, Winner’s fun spot on Main Street!

Bake-Off and Sale to happen on Saturday

The Gregory/Dallas Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Christmas cookie bake-off and sale this weekend! The event will take place on Saturday from 1:30 to 4pm at the Dixon Town Hall in Gregory. To enter, send an email to gregoryareachamber@gmail.com. There will be samples for the public to try out and you can purchase cookies too!

DB’s to hold a Men’s Night on Monday

DB’s Bait & Tackle in Winner will be holding a Men’s Night on Monday, December 17th! Brats and beer will be served from 5-8pm. All Bass Pro labeled items will be 50 percent off on the 17th. There will be door prizes you can sign up and A.B.U. Garcia rod and reel combos will be sale priced at $159 that night so be sure you make plans to attend!

Blood Drive coming up in Burke

Since it is the season of giving, we encourage you to attend the Burke Community Blood Drive that is coming up on December 27th from 11am to 5:30pm at the Burke Civic Center! If you have any questions or if you want to schedule an appointment for the drive, call Sharlo Spencer at 605-208-1751.

Carter Coyote Classic set for this weekend

The annual Carter Coyote Classic will take place on Saturday, December 15th at the Red Hills Last Chance Saloon in Carter. A rules meeting and calcutta will be held on Friday, the 14th starting at 7pm. One team member must be present for the rules meeting. The entry fee is $40 per two person team. There will be a bounty system payout with added pot of $100 for heaviest, smallest and odd predator. For more details, contact Jason Gregg at 842-5498 or Jeremy Clay at 842-6939.

Be sure to checkout the Nutcracker in Winner!

We encourage everyone to come and checkout the Nutcracker in Winner, located on the east side of the former Nelson Electronics Building. They have many unique items like: wine racks, wall decor, Christmas items, barnwood wall decor and shelving, different types of wood decor, small Christmas trees, backlit cross, reindeer, special crossed made of wood, memory box, toys for the kids and flowerpot holders. The Nutcracker will be open 12-6 Monday through Saturday, and from 10-2 on Saturday.
