Your Country 1260 Mailbag

The Country 1260 Mailbag is a great way to sell or buy items. Everything for sale on the Mailbag is $300 or less. It’s a great way to advertise a yard sale or to sell off items that you don’t need anymore.

9/4 Nala our 2 yr old Female Husky has been missing from the Arnold, NE area since 2/9/18.  She is Grey/Black with Blue Eyes and a White Face.  We believe someone passing through the Nebraska area may have picked her up and without tags or collar had no way to contact us.  If you have seen her or know someone that may have her please help us bring her home.  We are offering a $2000.00 reward for her safe return.  402-214-4737.

9/25 The Tripp County Historical Society will be having their annual “Soup Supper” Monday, October 1st at the 4-H Center.  Serving Chili, Chicken Noodle & Vegetable Beef, Pie & Brownies for dessert from 5-7pm.  Free will offering would be greatly appreciated.

9/24 The Iona Gals will be having their homecoming bake sale at Klein’s Greenhouse in Gregory on Friday, Sept 28th starting at 9:30am.

9/6 2018 Neon Nine Walk/ Run Saturday October 6th @ The Winner Golf Course. Registration at 5:00, Race Starts @ 5:30 PM. Cost is $25.00 which includes race t-shirt and meal. Raffle drawing for queen size star quilt, set of metal angels and other items to be added. Join us for an evening of fun. All monies raise stay locally to support Breast Cancer Patients and Survivors. Thank You for your support in this worthy cause.

9/4 Fall Festival at Winner Catholic Church.  Sunday, October 7th at St. Mary’s Hall.  Serving from 5-7pm.  Carry out available 5-7pm.  For Delivery please call 840-2003 between 4-6:30pm.  Tickets are available at the Parish Office and Marty’s on Main Street.  There will also be a Country Store during the festival.

8/28 Free will benefit for Jim Spann Oct 21st at the Gregory Community Room from 5-7pm.  Serving fresh smoked pulled pork sandwiches on homemade buns, assorted homemade salads and assorted homemade desserts and drinks.  This benefit sponsored by Gregory IOOF Lodge #189, Gregory County 4H, and Gregory County Shooting Sports.  Funds will be matched by Modern Woodman.  Jim has stage 4 metastatic bladder cancer and has spent time traveling to get treatments and doctor visits.
