The Country 1260 Mailbag is a great way to sell or buy items. Everything for sale on the Mailbag is $300 or less. It’s a great way to advertise a yard sale or to sell off items that you don’t need anymore.

1/22 The Knights of Columbus  Spaghetti Supper is this Saturday, January 26th 5 to 8pm at St. Mary’s Hall in Winner. Free Donation will be taken. Everyone is welcome.

8 am- St. Pats Rummage sale starts at The American Lutheran Church. 10am- Registration for the Shamrock Shuffle starts at the Jet Lanes. 12- Shamrock Shuffle in front of Jet Lanes. 12:30 Too Drunk to Fish performs at Jet Lanes. 1:40- Parade lineup at the corner of Main and Willow Street. 2:00- Grand parade Commences on Main Street. 7pm- Neo Johnsons Perform at Jet Lanes. 1/22 The District 21 Legislative team will be hosting a meet and greet throughout district 21 on January 26th. They will begin in Springfield from 9-10am at the community center, Then Abby’s Convenience Store and Restaurant from 11:15- 12:15 at Pickstown, Then head to Platte at the Dutch Oven bakery from 2-3pm, then heading to Gregory to the Dayspring Coffee Co on Main Street in Gregory from 4-5pm. They will end at the West River Tap from 5:30 to 6:30pm. We invite everyone to come and meet your legislative team from district 21.

1/22 Wear N Wares Thrift  Store at 610 Main Street in Gregory, will continue their $5.00 bag sale on clothing only from Tuesday, January 22nd through Friday January 25th. This is a good time to stock up on warm winter clothings.

1/3 The Johnson Strings – an incredible family of 81 Violins, violas, cellos, bass, piano, mandolin, and banjo…With over 100 years of professional training among the siblings alone, and thousands of hours spent perfecting their craft, the music they produce is jaw-dropping!  January 21, 2019 at the Community Church of St. Lawrence at 7pm.  All are invited to this unforgettable performance and a sneak peek of their Branson performances.

12/31 The members of the Reliance Area Community Development are hosting their annual dinner theater at a new time – the end of January.  This year’s play, The Villain Wore a Dirty Shirt, will be Friday, January 25th and Saturday, January 26th.  Come to Reliance to find out what shenanigans take place in the laundry of an 1890’s gold mining town.  If you like to laugh this event is for you.  Doors will open at 6pm with hors d’oeuvres followed by a roast beef dinner complete with dessert and the play.  Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, January 9th at 6pm at the Ag Services Building in Chamberlain, the Legion Hall in Reliance, the Fire Hall in Kennebec, and Jet Lanes in Presho.  The remaining tickets will go on sale by contacting JaNelle Choal at 680-3013 after 8am on Thursday, January 10th.  Tickets are limited, first come first serve.  This event is a Thrivent Action Team.
