State Volleyball gets underway Thursday

It is State Volleyball week in South Dakota! The Class ‘A’ Tournament will be held in Watertown, the Class ‘B’ Tournament will happen in Huron while the ‘AA’ Tournament will be held in Brookings. The tournaments will run Thursday through Saturday. The top overall seed in the Class ‘A’ field is Dakota Valley, who was victorious over Winner in the Sweet 16 round. In Class ‘B’, Northwestern is the one seed. We have two local teams that will be competing in Huron- Lyman and Platte/Geddes. Lyman is the six seed and will play three seeded Chester Area at 6pm on Thursday night. Platte-Geddes is the seven seed and will play two seeded Sully Buttes after the Lyman game wraps up. In the Class ‘AA’ field, Harrisburg is the one seed. Find all of the matchups for the first round by checking out our sports schedule page!
