The Witten Fire Department will hold their Hunters Breakfast on Saturday, October 26th and Sunday, October 27th from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Witten Community Hall. The breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, coffee and juice.
A benefit dinner and auction for Victor Gonzalez will be held on Saturday, October 26th from 5-8 p.m. at the Burke VFW. There will be a free will offering of smoked brisket and pulled pork. Also happening is a live and silent auction including items such as Nebraska and SDSU football tickets, a Traeger Grill, and a Model 71 Stevens Limited Gun. The Rosebud Casino is hosting their Halloween dance and costume party this Friday, October 25th. The party will go from 8:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. which will include prizes for best costumes. Free slots and other prizes will be available as well.

The Sandhills Area Foundation will hold their annual fundraising event on Saturday, November 2nd at 5:30 p.m. at the Cherry County Fairgrounds in Valentine, Nebraska. The event will start with wine and wings being served with dinner and an auction later in the evening.
A Tree Lighting event will take place in Gregory, South Dakota on November 18th at 7 p.m. in the evening.
