The Colome Cowgirls and Cowboys will hit the road today to take on Marty for a boys and girls basketball doubleheader. Chris Doski will provide you with coverage on Magic 93 starting at around 6:10. The Cowgirls have won two of their last three ballgames as they play in their regular season finale tonight. Marty has improved over the last month. The Lady Braves are locked in the three spot in District 12B while Colome is fourth. The Cowboys (12-5) are coming off an impressive win over Burke/South Central from Tuesday. Colome has won three in a row and six of their last seven. Colome has a slight edge over Marty atop the District 12B standings. The Cowboys have 42.24 seed points compared to Marty’s 41.94. The Braves are 13-5 and have won six in a row.

Doski will be in Marty tonight providing you with coverage of the Colome at Marty boys and girls basketball doubleheader. Coverage will start at around 6:10 with the girls varsity game on 93.7FM.
Showing this weekend at the Hipp Theatre in Gregory will be the movie “The Revenant” starring Leonardo Dicaprio. Shows this Friday, Saturday and Sunday night at the Hipp will begin at 7:30pm.
The Gregory County 4-H would like to start a Lego Club this summer! If you would like to donate any Legos, please contact the 4-H Office in Burke at 605-775-2581 or you can just drop them off at the Office.
Keep in mind that the Kennebec Town and Country Club’s annual Business Appreciation Night will happen this Saturday from 5 to 7pm at the Kennebec Gym. Also on Saturday, there will be a game show night pool fundraiser at the Platte Community Center! There will be food for you to enjoy and a social hour is planned for 6pm.
The annual Border Bumper/American Legion Chili Cook Off will be held this Saturday, February 20th from 5-8pm at the Colome Legion. If you are interested in entering or if you have any questions you can call Janet at 842-2931.
State ‘A’ Basketball Tickets are available at the Winner High School now! They are all session general admission tickets. Adult ticket prices are $45 and for students it is $30. Tickets are available now through March 7th at the High School Office. The State ‘A’ Boys Basketball Tournament will run March 17th through the 19th in Rapid City.
