Tomorrow, Chris Doski will provide you with coverage from the Corn Palace in Mitchell on 93.7FM as the DWU Culver’s Classic will be taking place. The White River Tigers (14-2) will battle 13-2 Canistota. The Tigers have a firm grip in the District 13B Standings as they have 45.27 seed points. Eldon Marshall’s team has won three in a row since falling in Mitchell to Warner back on January 23rd. The Hawks currently sit in first place in District 8B ahead of 12-4 Bridgewater-Emery. Canistota has 45 seed points compared to Bridgewater-Emery’s 43.25. The Hawks have won a couple of games in a row since losing at home to Chester Area on January 26th. The last time these two teams met was January 19th of 2013, as White River won 62-50. Tipoff tomorrow in Mitchell will take place at around 4pm.

Come shoot the bull at the 13th annual Bullnanza at the Tripp County 4-H Center in Winner today! The event will run from 10am-4pm. Speaking will be Dr. Covey and Jacob Peterson. Video Predator Calling Contest to happen in Winner tomorrow
The annual Winner area Video Predator Calling Contest will take place tomorrow in Winner! A rules meeting and calcutta will be held tonight at Sargent’s starting at 7pm. All kills this weekend must be taped, and no running or gunning is allowed. Up to three man teams are allowed to participate and the entry fee is $150 per team, which includes a buffet style dinner tomorrow night. If you have questions call Jeff’s Gun Vault at 842-4867.
Preview for the Platte/Geddes vs Winner game tonight
Tonight, Scott Schramm will be at the Winner National Guard Armory providing you with coverage of girls basketball on 93.7FM as Platte-Geddes will play Winner. The Lady Black Panthers (12-5) have won nine of their last ten games. Platte-Geddes has won three in a row, most recently defeating Chamberlain earlier in the week, 45-36. The Lady Black Panthers sit in first place in District 11B with 43.06 seed points, just over two points better than second place Andes Central/Dakota Christian. The 13-4 Winner Lady Warriors were able to outlast Cheyenne-Eagle Butte in overtime this past Saturday, 61-56. Victors of their last three, Winner looks to end the regular season strong. Winner currently sits in fourth place in Region 7A. Winner has regular season games left against Platte-Geddes tonight, McLaughlin tomorrow then at Mobridge-Pollock on February 19th. Pre-game coverage tonight will start at around 7:40.
