An annual benefit hunt will take place this Saturday in Gregory County. If you are interested in participating or donating to this worthy cause you need to contact Scott Anshutz at 830-1806 or email him at [email protected]. The benefit has raised nearly $58,000 for area causes.

We wanted to remind you about a couple of meetings that will take place in Charles Mix County this week. The annual meeting of the Lyric Theatre in Platte will take place tonight at 5pm at the Lyric Theatre. Also, the Charles Mix County Democrats will hold a meeting this Saturday starting at 7pm at the Lake Andes Community Center.

The Winner High School and Middle School Student Council would like to invite everyone to the boys and girls basketball games on Saturday, February 6th at the Winner Armory starting at 2pm against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte. They will be raffling off two bouquets of flowers. All of the money raised will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network. A big thanks goes out to Cathy Calhoon and to Heather Nagel for donating all of the bouquets.

Kung Fu Panda 3 will begin showing tonight at the Hipp Theatre in Gregory! Some of the big actors in the movie are: Bryan Cranston, Jack Black and J.K. Simmons. The movie is rated PG and it will be shown at 7:30pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
