At the State B Amateur Baseball Tournament in Sioux Falls last night, Harrisburg won the first game of the night over Lennox, 12-0. In game two, Madison rallied after being down six runs in the eighth inning as they came back to defeat Lesterville, 9-8. In Major League Baseball last night, Mitch Garver’s three run home run was the difference as the Twins defeated Cleveland, 3-2.

At the State ‘B’ Amateur Baseball Tournament in Sioux Falls last night, the Milbank Firechiefs defeated the Miller/Wessington Outlaws, 8-2. In game two, the Garretson BlueJays shutout the Akron Rebels, 3-0. In Major League Baseball last night, Cleveland defeated Minnesota, 10-0.

The State B Junior Legion Baseball Tournament wrapped up yesterday at Leahy Bowl. Winner beat Clark in eight innings for the consolation championship by a final score of 6-5 in eight innings. Groton beat Warner/Ipswich/Northwestern, 11-1 for third place. Lennox beat Redfield in the championship game, 8-2. In the state amateur tournament in Sioux Falls on Sunday, Dimock/Emery beat Canton, 9-1. Flandreau took down Four Corners, 15-0. Canova defeated Colman, 7-2 and Parkston was able to hold off Larchwood, 5-4. In the Class B State Teener Tournament Sunday, Tyndall beat Salem/Montrose, 10-2. Kimball/White Lake finished third overall as they beat Onida, 9-4. Baltic beat Parkston, 8-3.

At Leahy Bowl yesterday, the State B Junior Legion Tournament got underway. Lennox beat Mission in game one, 15-3. Game two was won by Redfield as they beat Wessington Springs, 6-0. W.I.N. beat Clark in game three, 10-0. Game four was won by Groton as they scored a victory over Claremont/Britton. Lennox beat Winner in the nightcap, 9-0. Today at 10am, Mission will play Claremont/Britton followed by Winner taking on Wessington Springs. In game three at 4:45, Redfield will play Groton followed by Lennox taking on W.I.N. at 7pm.

In the Class B State Teener Tournament in Salem yesterday, Onida was able to hold off Tyndall, 6-5. Parkston beat Garretson, 6-5 and Kimball/White Lake beat Canova, 6-5.

In the State B Amateur Baseball Tournament Friday in Sioux Falls, Garretson beat Menno, 8-2. Akron was victorious over Volga, 2-1. Lennox beat Clear Lake in eleven innings last night, 5-4. Harrisburg shutout Corsica/Stickney, 5-0.
