Fishing Tournament to happen this weekend in Chamberlain

The second annual “Fishing for a Cure” Ladies Fishing Tournament will happen in Chamberlain this Saturday, July 7th. The ladies are seeking contributions to help defray the costs associated with the event so that all the funds can assist any community member that is battling cancer. Donations may be monetary or items for their raffle and auction. All funds raised will stay local and can be used for assistance defray the cost for gas, food, lodging or bill payments of any kind. Winner and White River to hold blood drives later this month

Coming up on Wednesday, July 18th, a blood drive will take place in White River at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall from 1:15-5pm. To make an appointment call Donna at 259-3372. A blood drive will be held on Tuesday, July 24th from Noon-6pm and on Wednesday, July 25th from 7:30am-12:30pm at the Winner Regional Hospital Chapel. Burke Farmer's Market to open soon

The Burke Area Farmers Market will begin on Thursday, July 12th from 4:30-6:30pm on Main Street! They will have many old and new vendors this summer. Witten to hold celebration on July 3rd

The annual Witten Volunteer Fire Department’s beef and pork feed and fireworks display will take place on Tuesday, July 3rd starting at 5:30pm. The cost for the feed is just five dollars per plate with all of the proceeds going to help fund the great family event. Fireworks will start at dusk on Tuesday night as they celebrate the Fourth of July!

River City Friday Nights returns this week!

River City Friday Nights will return this Friday on Main Street in Chamberlain! On the 29th, it will be ‘Military/Public Service Night’. Stop by beginning at 6pm for great live music, food, the beer/wine garden, free games for adults and kids and plenty more! Soil Health Field Day to happen in Murdo tomorrow

Don’t forget that a Soil Health Field Day will be held on Tuesday, June 26th at the George S. Michelson Building in Murdo. Registration will start at 9:30am.
