A dinner for a movie will be held on Sunday, June 11th from 11am-1pm at Mary Vale Hall in Gregory. This is a fundraiser for the new digital projector at the Hilltop Drive-In Theatre. They will be serving up hamburgers, sloppy joes, chips and baked beans. The event is being sponsored by community members and it will be a free will donation.

Cruise Night set for Saturday in Naper!
The annual Cruise Night event will take place this Saturday, June 10th in Naper, Nebraska! In conjunction with the Cruise Night will be the Dust Bowl Co-Ed Softball Tournament! There is a one hundred dollar entry fee and a maximum of 10 players (5 girls and 5 guys) are allowed on each team. For more information you can call Kendall at 402-340-1092.

The Winner Area Caregivers Support Group will have their June meeting take place at 2pm today at the Solarium of the Winner Long Term Care Center. Also this afternoon, a blood drive will take place from 12:30-6pm at the Gregory Auditorium. Please come help Sam Voight reach his goal of 30 people to donate to receive a college scholarship!
Baked potato fundraiser to be held Sunday
The Winner American Legion Auxiliary will host a baked potato fundraiser this weekend! The event is set to happen on Sunday, June 11th from 11am-1pm at the Winner American legion. It will be a free will donation and the proceeds will benefit our veterans, children and the youth programs in our community. Make plans to attend!
Winner Summer Nights event to happen tomorrow
Winner Summer Nights will be celebrating Kucera Electric’s 40th anniversary tomorrow night from 5:30-8pm on Main Street in Winner! There will be dodge ball going on as well as a scavenger hunt, hula hoop, sidewalk chalk, plant a flower, ring tossing, a photo booth, Yahtzee, Jenga, bean bags and ladder golf! Food will be provided by Wings and More, Smoking Bull BBQ, Spirit Gems and there will be indian tacos! Live Music will be provided by Country Rush.
4-H Clothing Drive going on now
The Tripp County 4-H Youth Groups are taking part in a state wide clothing drive project. If you would like to donate items to this project they can be dropped off at the Tripp County 4-H Extension Office that is located in the Tripp County Courthouse. This project will be running through July 31st. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
Blood drives coming up next week
We have a couple of blood drives coming up later this month in South Central South Dakota. There will be a drive at the Colome Legion on Tuesday, June 13th from 1:30-5:30pm. To make an appointment call Vicki at 605-842-0270. Bonesteel will host a blood drive on Wednesday, June 14th from Noon to 5:15pm at the Bonesteel Community Center. Winner to hold city wide rummage sales this week
The Winner City Wide Rummage Sales will be taking place on Friday, June 9th and Saturday, June 10th. The deadline for you to be listed on the map is tomorrow, Wednesday, June 7th. If you would like to be listed you can call Karla at the Chamber at 842-1533. Maps for the sales will be available at the Lil Feller, Shopko Hometown, Winner Food Center, the Winner City Office, Winner Sooper Foods, Country Pride Convenience and at Winner True Value.

We have a few meetings that will be happening in the area tonight. The Chamberlain Nightengales will gather for a meeting at 5:30 this evening at the Chamberlain Country Club. The Winner High School Class of 1972 will hold a class meeting for their upcoming reunion tonight at 7pm at Wings and More in Winner. The Presho City Council will meet up at 8pm tonight at their regular location in Presho.
