Caring Coats project happening all winter long in Chamberlain!

A Caring Coats Project is taking place in Chamberlain-Oacoma! The community is collecting gently used and new coats of all sizes, vests, gloves, scarves, mittens, hats and blankets right now. You can drop off those items at Hair Expressions. If you have a coat to give then please leave a coat. If you need a coat, then you are encouraged to take a coat. Ugly Sweater parties coming up this weekend!

A couple of ugly sweater parties will be held in the area this weekend! The third annual Ugly Sweater Party will happen on Saturday at the Frontier Bar in Colome starting at 9pm. Live music will be provided by Cody Henson Hullinger! Stella’s Food and Spirits in Burke will hold their Ugly Sweater Party on Friday from 9 to closing! Jones and Company will provide the acoustic tunes and there will be prizes for the ugliest sweater too!

Sounds of Christmas to happen tonight

The Sounds of Christmas will be held tonight beginning at 7pm at the Winner Catholic Church. Come enjoy this event of sharing the gift of music! There will be a free will offering that will be given to the Ministerial Association. Open House to be held in Winner tomorrow

Everyone is invited to attend the Country Pride Cooperative’s Pre-Pay open house that will take place tomorrow in Winner! Lunch will be served starting at 11am and will run until 2pm. If you would like more details on tomorrow’s open house you can checkout their website, www.countrypridecoop.com.

Monday reminders

Don’t forget that a blood drive will run from Noon to 5:30 today at the Kimball Catholic Church. Tonight at 7pm the Gregory Elementary School Concert will happen at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium. The Gregory Library Teen Board is collecting items for the Gregory Food Pantry through the end of the day tomorrow. You can drop off items at the Library during business hours.

Reminders for next week

Keep in mind that the annual Parade of Lights will be held in Mission on Monday, December 19th starting at 7pm! Lineup will begin at 6pm at Todd County High School. Also on Monday, there will be a blood drive in Kimball running from Noon to 5:30pm at the Catholic Church. Wood Elementary will hold their Christmas Concert on Tuesday, December 20th starting at 7pm at the Wood City Auditorium.

Bells Ringing at Shopko!

The Salvation Army Winner Unit’s Bell Ringing Campaign is going on at Shopko in Winner! If your business, organization, church, family or youth group would like to participate call Bill Matousek at 842-9040. The Salvation Army Winner Unit is a project of the Winner Ministerial Association and the Winner Resource Center for families. Monetary donations can be made directly to the Salvation Army Unit 381, Box 585 in Winner.
