The Girls Region 3A Golf Tournament was held on Tuesday in Pierre. Winner Area’s Gracie Root was the medalist as she shot an 89. Trey Speer of Chamberlain tied with Rylee Root of Winner Area and Alexis Cronk of Chamberlain for runner up, as all three girls shot a 92. Leila Balsiger of Winner Area was fifth with a 94. Winner Area won the team title while Chamberlain was second.

The Region 4B Golf Tournaments were held Tuesday in Mitchell. Gregory’s Kade Stukel won the boys meet as he shot a 73. Gregory’s Eli Fogel was fourth with a 76 while Dawson Hoffman of Platte/Geddes was fifth with a 77. Gregory won the boys team title. Abigail Svatos of Andes Central/Dakota Christian was the girls medalist as she shot an 83. Burke’s Adisyn Indahl was runner up with an 85 while Olivia Bull of Burke was third with an 89, and Jessy Jo VanderWerff of Gregory was fourth with a 94. Burke won the girls team title.

In SoDak 16 Softball Tuesday, Lennox defeated Winner Area, 3-1.

Little League Baseball Tuesday, Clearfield fell to the Gregory 1 Rookies, 1-0. The Clearfield Minors defeated Gregory, 9-1. The Clearfield Majors beat Gregory, 8-7. The Winner Purple Rookies beat Ainsworth, 7-3. The Winner Purple Majors beat Ainsworth, 17-8.
