The Nebraska Cornhuskers closed out their 2022 College Football season with a 24-17 win on Friday over the Iowa Hawkeyes. Quarterback Casey Thompson threw for 278 yards and three touchdowns in the win. Wide Receiver Trey Palmer had 9 receptions for 165 yards and two touchdowns. According to multiple national sources, like ESPN, Nebraska is working to finalize a deal with Matt Rhule that would make him the next head coach of Nebraska. Rhule was fired earlier this season after being the head coach of the Carolina Panthers.
