SDSU’s Daum and Miller named Summit League Players of the Year!

MACY MILLER OF SOUTH DAKOTA STATE WAS NAMED THE SUMMIT LEAGUE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR YESTERDAY! MILLER IS AVERAGING JUST OVER 18 POINTS PER GAME THIS SEASON AND SHE IS SHOOTING OVER 50 PERCENT FROM THE FIELD. MILLER AND THE LADY JACKS ARE THE TWO SEED IN THE SUMMIT LEAGUE TOURNAMENT THAT STARTS THIS WEEKEND AT THE PREMIER CENTER IN SIOUX FALLS. SDSU WILL PLAY NORTH DAKOTA STATE AT 2:30. THE USD LADY COYOTES WILL PLAY FORT WAYNE ON SATURDAY AT NOON. MIKE DAUM OF SOUTH DAKOTA STATE WAS NAMED THE SUMMIT LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE YEAR FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE SEASON! JACKS HEAD COACH TJ OTZELBERGER WAS TABBED AS THE LEAGUE’S COACH OF THE YEAR. THE JACKS WILL OPEN THE SUMMIT LEAGUE TOURNAMENT SATURDAY NIGHT AGAINST WESTERN ILLINOIS AT 6PM IN SIOUX FALLS. THE USD COYOTES WILL PLAY AT 8:30 SATURDAY NIGHT AGAINST OMAHA.
