The Country 1260 Mailbag is a great way to sell or buy items. Everything for sale on the Mailbag is $300 or less. It’s a great way to advertise a yard sale or to sell off items that you don’t need anymore.

7/15 Wear N Wares Thrift Store at 610 Main St. in Gregory will be having a weekly special beginning Tuesday, July 16th through Friday, July 19th.  All shoes and purses are 50% off.  Wear N Wares is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 5pm.

7/11 Winner VFW Auxiliary has rescheduled the July meeting from the 14th to Sunday, July 21st at 2pm at the Tripp County Library Community room.

7/3 Winner United Methodist Church will be hosting Vacation Bible School on July 14th to July 18th from 5:30 to 8pm each night.  VBS is for children ages 5 thru 8th grade and all denominations are welcome!  This fun event is free with a free supper included each night.  Register online at www.winnerumc.org.

7/3 The group who loves to play Mexican Train will resume playing on Tuesday July 9th at 2pm at the Winner Elks Club.  Anyone who would like to learn how to play or refresh their skill, please join us.  It is just a great 2 hours of fun.  No fee!  The next date is July 23rd, same place and time.

6/28 A medical living expense account has been set up for Neal Farley at the Sentinel Federal Credit Union in Winner on East Highway 18.

6/25 There will be a dedication for the Charters of Freedom at the Tripp County Courthouse on Labor Day, following the Labor Day Parade.  They are in need of monetary donations and they can be made to: Foundation Forward/Winner.  You can drop them off to Brenda Muhs at her office in Winner or mail them to her at 218 Monroe in Winner.

6/24 Want to lose weight sensibly, join TOPS.  Take Off Pounds Sensibly.  It is a fun group of 10 that meet at the Courthouse on Wed. at 4:30pm.  Come join us.  $4.00 per month and $32.00 to $34.00 a year.

6/11 An enhanced concealed carry course will be held on August 10th and 11th from 8am to 6pm at the Rosebud Arrow, Rod and Gun club in Winner.  Cost is $150.00 per person.  This will be an all day course, so please bring everything you need with you.  Students will be required to stay on the grounds all day for safety reasons.  Please contact Jake Handcock at 605-515-3381 or John Janecke at 815-670-8907 for registration and payment.  They will need at least 12 people signed up and paid in full by July 15th for the course.
