Sacred Hoops is bringing NBA All Star, 2 time NCAA Champion, and 1992 Dream Team Gold Medal Winner Christian Laettner to Pierre SD. We will be doing a basketball camp on Saturday Nov. 9th afternoon at Riggs High School.Session 1 Gr. 2-6 – 1:00-2:15 p.m. Session 2 Gr. 7-12 – 2:30-4:15 p.m.Register at www.sacredhoopsbasketball.comWe will be doing a large scale fundraising event to raise funds for college scholarships and for scholarships for athletes who cannot afford to play summer basketball. The event will take place at Drifters in Ft. Pierre SD.12 VIP Tables are sold with those people being able to be apart of the VIP Meet and Greet. Information on cost of the VIP Tables can be given by request. We will have a Q&A Session – Open Mic With Christian Laettner at 8:30 p.m.Then a Full Concert with the Josh Gilbert Band.Tickets to the Q&A with Laettner are $20 – includes a ticket to the concert. Registration for shooting sports will take place early this year. Please make plans to come to the 4-H office in the Courthouse on Tuesday Nov 12th from 3-7 PM or Thursday, Nov 14th from 3:30-7 PM. Registration will take approximately 10-15 mins. At this tiem computers will be set up to re-enroll in 4-H and you will sign up for your shooting time. Your child must have had their 8th birthday before Dec 31st.
The Jack Rabbits are back home here this week as they take on Illinois State. SDSU looks to finish the season strong with just 3 games remaining in the regular season. You can listen to the next Jack Rabbits football game on Magic 93 with prelude to the pregame at 12:50 and pregame at 1 pm and kickoff at 2 pm. 93.7 is your local home for Jack Rabbit football all season long
The South Dakota football playoffs move into the semi-final round. On AM Country 1260 you can listen to Winner take on Webster in Winner. Then on Magic 93 you can hear Gregory take on Britton-Hecla as that game will be played in Britton. Both games are on Friday and have a pre-game at 5:30 and a kickoff at 6 pm.
