Central South Dakota had a good day on Saturday at the State Cross Country Meets that took place on a chilly day in Rapid City at Hart Ranch. Burke’s Hallie Person won the Class B State Run in a time of 19:24:02. Gregory’s Emma Thomas was 10th. Kimball/White Lake won the girls team title while Gregory was 7th and Platte/Geddes finished 10th. The Class B Boys race was won by Cody Larsen of Warner in a time of 15:54:61. The Bison boys won the team title while Kimball/White Lake was 6th and Platte/Geddes was 7th. The Class A girls run was won by Abby Cutler of Hill City in a time of 19:16:57. Chamberlain’s Kinsey Evans had a top 10 finish as she came in 8th overall. The team title went to Hill City while Chamberlain was 5th. The Class A Boys run was won by Cody Farland of St. Thomas More in a time of  16:15:55. Kade Watson of Winner Area finished 7th while Dom Santiago of Chamberlain was 8th overall. Sioux Falls Christian won the team title while Winner Area was 8th.
