The Country 1260 Mailbag is a great way to sell or buy items. Everything for sale on the Mailbag is $300 or less. It’s a great way to advertise a yard sale or to sell off items that you don’t need.

5/7 Please join us for a Free will offering Fundraiser for the Guhner Kepler family, Friday May 10th from 5 – ? at the Gregory American Legion. This fundraiser is to help the family out with medical and living expenses due to an accident that has prevented Guhner from working for several upcoming weeks. This benefit is being hosted by the Gregory American Legion.
5/6 The Gregory County Historical Society will meet this Wednesday, May 8th at 7pm at the Burke Civic Center Community Room. The 4th grade students from Burke will be presenting their reports and dioramas on famous South Dakota people.

5/2 The South Dakota Department of Veterans Affairs invites Veterans to join them at “What’s Brewing” on Thursday, May 9th at the American Legion Post 6 in Gregory. Dinner starts at 5pm and the “What’s Brewing” conversation starts at 5:30pm.
5/1 Winner Country Club Ladies Spring golf meeting will be held May 7th at the Clubhouse. Supper begins at 5:30pm and meeting will follow at 6pm. All Winner Country Club Lady Golfers are invited to attend and help us plan for a fun year.

4/15 The City of Presho will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 6th at 8:15pm at Presho City Hall, 108 N. Main Street to consider the Transfer Application of Alcoholic Beverages from Jet Lanes to Jet Lanes, LLC. Any person interested in the approval or rejection of the application may appear and be heard.
11/22 Non-clinical support group for current or past survivors impacted by abuse or violence provided by Winner Resource Center for Families. Individuals can register by calling the Winner Resource Center office at 605-842-2736 or shana@winnerresourcecenter.org. Groups will be held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at the Tripp County Library from Noon to 1 or on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30pm at the Gregory Library in Gregory. We need at least 2 to 3 people to register to start holding groups.
9/19 Winner VFW Auxiliary sponsored pitch party, every third Monday of the month at 2pm in the Library basement.
8/6 We are having BINGO at the Senior Center both Tuesday and Wednesday from now on. The only reason it would be canceled is for weather and when the Senior Center is closed for a holiday. We are asking $2.00 per day.
6/16 Anyone that receives mail delivery from the Winner Post Office which includes Carter and Witten needs to make sure they have a number on their mailbox that is visible to the carriers. We will have some new carriers starting with us in the next couple of weeks, they do not know the houses like your regular carriers do.
