Funeral services for 72 year old Gary Hobert and 71 year old Deb Hobert of Harrold will be held on Saturday, October 17th at 10:30am at the Harrold School Gym.  Burial will follow at Medicine Hill Cemetery in Harrold.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7pm on Friday followed by a 7pm prayer service at the Harrold School Gym.

Mass of Christian Burial for 83 year old Mary “Maggie” Arnold of Valentine will be held on Saturday, October 10th at 10am MT at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Nenzel.  Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Valentine.  A rosary will be recited on Friday at 6pm MT at the church in Nenzel with visitation before the rosary.

Funeral Mass for 93 year old Albert Bruce of Highmore will be held on Monday, October 12th at 10:30am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Highmore.  Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Highmore.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.

Funeral service for 91 year old Don Faulstich of Highmore will be held on Saturday, October 10th at 1pm at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Highmore.  Burial will follow at the Highmore Cemetery.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.

Graveside service for 85 year old Vanetta Habeger of Winner will be held on Tuesday, October 6th at the Winner City Cemetery at 1pm.

Funeral services for 101 year old Marcheta A. Anderson of Chamberlain will be held on Saturday, October 3rd at 10:30am at the Zion Lutheran Church in Chamberlain.  Burial will be at the Pukwana Cemetery.  Visitation will begin Friday at 5pm with a prayer service at 7pm at the church.

Funeral services for 92 year old Catherine J. Peterson on Kennebec will be held on Wednesday, September 30th at 2pm at the Reliance Methodist Hall.  Burial will be in the Reliance Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 1pm.

Funeral service for 83 year old Gloria Holden of Winner and Colome will be held on Monday, October 5th at 10:30am at the Winner Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the Winner City Cemetery.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral Mass for 88 year old Ione Louise McKelvey of Highmore will be held on Friday, October 9th at 10:30am at St. Mary’s Church in Highmore.  Burial will follow at the Highmore Cemetery.  Her husband will be laid to rest with her at the same time.  A luncheon will follow the burial at the East Wing of the Hyde County Memorial Auditorium in Highmore.

Memorial services for 70 year old Bruce Menkens of Fairfax will be held on Monday, October 5th at 11am at the Legion Hall in Verdel, NE.

Memorial service for 83 year old Gordon Hitchcock of Ainsworth will be held at a later date.

Funeral service for 71 year old Gerald L. Ammon of Bassett, NE will be held on Saturday, October 3rd at 10am at the Bassett Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in the Sybrant Community Cemetery southeast of Bassett.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7pm at the church and continue on Saturday one hour prior to the services.  Those attending the services are asked to please wear casual attire.

Visitation for 58 year old Henry “Hank” Bucholz of Highmore will be held on Saturday, October 3rd from 10am to 12pm at Luze Funeral Home in Highmore.  A graveside service will follow at 12:15pm at the Highmore Cemetery.  Following the graveside, a luncheon will be held at the Hyde County Senior Center in Highmore.

Funeral services for 92 year old Gretchen Hausmann of Butte NE will be held on Thursday, October 1st at 10:30am at the City Hall in Fairfax.  Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery in Fairfax.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the hall.

Funeral services for Wayne James Running Horse Sr. will be held in Ideal on Monday, September 28th at 2pm.  Burial will follow in the Holy Spirit Cemetery in Ideal.  Wake service will begin on Saturday and Sunday in Ideal with services beginning at 7pm both nights.

Funeral services for 98 year old Edna Christina Haase of Valentine will be held Saturday, September 26th at 2pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Valentine.  Burial will follow at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Valentine.  A visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7pm at Sandoz Chapel of the Pines.

Funeral services for 68 year old James Harsin of Okreek will be held on Friday, September 25th at 10:30am at the Calvary Episcopal Church in Okreek.  Burial will follow at the Hillview Cemetery near Dallas at 3pm.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.

A Celebration of Life for 82 year old Wayne Bok of New Holland will be held on Monday, September 28th at 2pm at the New Holland Christian Reformed Church.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the Celebration of Life.

Funeral services for 98 year old Sylvia Mikkelsen formerly of Gregory will be held on Thursday, September 24th at 10:30am at the Union Congregational Church in Gregory.  Burial will follow in the Czech National Cemetery in Tyndall at 2:30pm.
