- Lynndi Kahler benefit coming up August 29th in Burke August 7, 2026A benefit for Lynndi Kahler will be held on Saturday, August 29th at the Burke VFW. A Meal will be served at 5pm, Silent Auction will go from 5-7pm and a live auction beginning at 7:30. - Lyman School District to hold back to school open house August 18th August 6, 2026The Lyman School District will hold a back to school open house on August 18th at the School. The elementary open house will begin at 5. An open house for middle and high schoolers will start at 6pm. There will also be a parent and student/athlete and coaches meeting that night at 7:30.

- Burke Area Farmers Market to return tomorrow August 5, 2026The Burke Area Farmers Market will return to the Burke City Park tomorrow evening from 5:30 to 7pm. They will be recognizing National Farmers Week, and numerous door prizes will be up for grabs, along with plenty of produce available for purchase, along with crafts and much more.
- Burke to host Ladies Golf Scramble tomorrow August 4, 2026The Burke Golf Course will be hosting a Let Freedom Swing, 2 lady, 9 hole scramble fun night tomorrow. There is a $50 entry fee with a meal included. Shotgun start is at 6pm. To signup, call 775-9190.
- Pancake Feed set for this evening in Burke August 4, 2026The Burke Community Club will be putting on a community pancake feed this evening, in conjunction with the Street Bandits Car Club’s Car Show. It will take place at the burke Civic Center this evening from 5 to 7pm, as part of Gregory County’s 4H Achievement Days.
