Funeral services for 87 year old Jeanice C. Stevens of St. Lawrence will be held on Monday, September 21st at 10:30am at St John’s Lutheran Church in Wolsey.  Burial will be at the G.A.R. Cemetery in Miller.  Visitation will be from 2-4pm followed by a 4pm prayer service on Sunday, September 20th at Reck Funeral Home in Miller.

Funeral services for 95 year old Rozella BaanHofman of Sioux Falls, formerly of Platte will be held on Monday, September 14th at 2pm at the Platte Christian Reformed Church.  Burial will follow in the Platte City Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.

Funerals services for 92 year old Sherman Visscher of Platte will be held on Saturday, September 19th at 11am at the Christian Reformed Church in Platte.  Burial will be in the Platte City Cemetery at 10am.  Visitation will be from 9-10am at the Church.

Mass of Christian Burial for 64 year old Larry O’Connor Jr. of Winner will be held on Tuesday, September 15th at 10am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Winner.  Burial will follow on Wednesday at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis.  Time for burial is currently pending.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.

Funeral services for 80 year old Barbara Nordstrom of Winner will be held Monday, September 14th at 10am at the First Christian Church in Winner.  Burial will follow in the Winner City Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral services for 4 month old Maddie Farmer, daughter of Jailani Long Crow & Bryan Farmer of Winner will be held Monday, September 14th at 1pm at the Winner Community Hall.  Burial will be in the Winner Cemetery.  Wake services will be Saturday and Sunday at 7pm at the Winner Community Hall.  Caravan at 1pm on Saturday from the Rosebud Casino.

Warkenthien of Miller will be held on Monday, September 14th at 10:30am at the Miller Community Center.  Burial will be at Collins Cemetery in Willow Lake, SD.  Visitation will begin at 5pm on Sunday followed by a 7pm prayer service all at the Miller Community Center.

Obago of Fort Thompson will be held on Thursday, September 10th at 1pm at the Akicita Mato Tribal Gymnasium in Fort Thompson.  Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery at Stephan.  Wake services will be Wednesday at 7pm at the Akicita Mato Tribal Gymnasium.

Funeral services for 89 year old Bartine E. “Bart” Blum of Reliance will be held on Wednesday, September 16th at 11am Trinity Lutheran Church in Chamberlain with visitation one hour prior to the funeral.  Burial will be at St. Alban’s Episcopal Cemetery at Fort Hale Bottom, SD.  Visitation will begin Tuesday at 5pm with a 7pm prayer service at the church.
