    The Comet Classic Track and Field Invite was held Friday in Rapid City. Locally, Jones County’s Mallory Valburg claimed victory in the girls high jump. Jones County’s Emma Hunt finished runner up in the girls 100 meter hurdles. On the boys side, Jones County’s Chastin Tollakson was fifth overall in the long jump.

  • Colome Fire Department Chicken Supper Feeds over 400 People March 21, 2022
    The Colome Volunteer Fire Department held their annual chicken supper fundraiser Saturday night at the Colome Legion with a very successful turn out.   Glen Sealey with the Colome Volunteer Fire Department told KWYR news that served over 400 people. Funds raised over the weekend will go to new breathing apparatus equipment.
