Old West Days and the Nebraska Cowboy Poetry Gathering will take place in Valentine April 25th through the 28th. Some of the many entertainers for this year’s event includes the following names: Harley Thorpe, Shiloh Hewitt, B.J. Jamison, Bonnie Krogman, Randy Huston, and Jake Riley.

There will be a ranch labor workshop that will be held on Tuesday, April 23rd at the Ainsworth Elks Lodge. The 10th annual Terry Severson Memorial Fishing Tournament will be held on June 1st at Platte Creek. The fishing boundaries are from the Fort Randall Dam to the Fort Thompson Dam. Fishing will take place from 7am to 2pm. The registration cost is $250. If you have questions, call Leroy at 682-8052.
