The South Dakota Basketball Coaches Associaton has revealed this years All-State Boys Basketball teams. Locally, making first team all-state in Class A was Winner’s Blake Volmer. - Harvest for Hunger Free Will Donation Lunch in Winner Tomorrow March 28, 2022
CHS River Plains will host a Harvest for Hunger free will donation lunch in Winner, S.D. on tomorrow from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the CHS Agronomy Warehouse. The lunch will consist of Burgers and Brats. All proceeds will go to the local food pantry in Winner.

The Witten Volunteer Fire Department will be holding their annual soup supper and pie auction this evening . Serving will start at 5:30 p.m. and there will be an auction to follow with many items donated by the community. This is a fundraiser in order to help raise funds for the fire department.

The Comet Classic Track and Field Invite was held Friday in Rapid City. Locally, Jones County’s Mallory Valburg claimed victory in the girls high jump. Jones County’s Emma Hunt finished runner up in the girls 100 meter hurdles. On the boys side, Jones County’s Chastin Tollakson was fifth overall in the long jump.
