The Winner Elk’s Hoop Shoot is coming up on Saturday, November 29th at the Winner Auxiliary Gym. The competition is open to boys and girls ages 8 to 13. The hoop shoot is free to all participants, and no pre-registration is required.

A retirement open house will take place on December 15th for Rhonda Augspurger. It will take place at Winner City Hall that evening from 5 to 6pm. Come congratulate Rhonda on her retirement!

For Burke/Gregory Storm Wrestlers and their parents, there will be a parent meeting this Thursday, November 20th beginning at 8pm. The meeting will take place in the Burke School Commons Area as they discuss the upcoming wrestling season for Storm athletes.

A benefit dart tournament will take place for Rita Pravecek on Saturday, November 22nd at the Colome Legion. It will be round robin team 501 format. If you have questions, call 384-5350.

The Valentine Chamber of Commerce will have their Holiday Preview take place on Saturday, November 22nd. Santa and his reindeer will be setup that day at Young’s Western Wear. The parade of lights will begin that evening at 6:30pm on Valentine’s Main Street.

The Gregory Golf Board will hold their annual meeting on Tuesday, November 18th at the Clubhouse in Gregory. Social hour will begin at 6pm, and the meeting will get underway at 7. Any golf course members from this year, and any potential new members for 2026 are invited to attend.

The Burke Area Farmer’s Market will hold a postseason wrap-up meeting on Tuesday, November 18th beginning at 4:45 in the Burke Civic Center meeting room. They will discuss the 2025 season that recently wrapped up, and discuss the 2026 season as well. Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting.
