- Rise All Star Game in Presho coming up Monday April 6, 2023The Rise All Star Basketball Game that was scheduled for tonight in Presho have been moved to next Monday, April 10th starting at 7pm. There will be a dunk contest and 3 point contest as well. Seniors from all across Central South Dakota will be in action at the Lyman Gardens.
- Bloody Mary Bar at the Pheasant Bar this Saturday April 5, 2023The Pheasant Bar on Main Street in Winner, S.D. will host another build your own bloody marry bar this Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Some items included are bacon strips, shrimp, pickles, olives, cheese and beef sticks.
- Event at Chamberlain Country Club this weekend April 5, 2023The Chamberlain Country Club will host their 2023 Member Appreciation Masters Kickoff event this Saturday, April 8th. The event will run from 1-7pm at the Clubhouse. There will be free appetizers and tap beer for 2022 members and 2023 paid members. 2023 spring raffle fundraising tickets will be available.
- Sioux Falls Storm have home opener this weekend! April 4, 2023The Sioux Falls Storm Football Team will battle the Iowa Barnstormers this Sunday, April 9th in the home opener at the Denny Sanford Premier Center! Kickoff is at 5:05. The Storm will look to bounce back after falling to Quad City on Saturday, 36-34, A reminder, you can get tickets at siouxfallsstorm.com.
- 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament to happen Saturday in Platte April 3, 2023A 3-on-3 basketball tournament will be held in Platte this Saturday, April 8th. The tournament is for girls and boys in grades 2 through 6. It will be held at the Platte-Geddes Elementary School gym. The cost is $50 for each team, with each team guaranteed two games. Teams can have up to four members. ...
- Club Baseball for Sunday postponed April 2, 2023The Club Baseball games that were scheduled for Winner/Colome today at Belle Fourche have been postponed due to field conditions being too wet. The coaches are working on finding a makeup date. We will keep you posted on our airwaves when a date is finalized.
- Special Gregory School Board Meeting April 1, 2023The Gregory School Board will hold a special meeting on Monday, April 3rd. at 12:00 p.m. This will be a closed meeting and not open to the public as it involves a student matter. Please note the Gregory School Board typically meets on the second Monday of each month.
- Chamberlain Youth Baseball signups ongoing April 1, 2023You have the chance to get your kids registered for the Chamberlain Youth I-90 Baseball League! The deadline to get signed up is April 23rd. Practice will start on April 24th. The league is open to children ages 6-13 with a $50 registration fee. Register online at secure.rec1.com/SD/Chamberlain-SD.
- Work Scheduled to Begin on U.S. Highway 18 between Winner and Colome March 31, 2023WINNER, S.D. – Construction work is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 10, 2023, on U.S. Highway 18 between Winner and Colome. Work on this construction project consists of concrete repair, concrete surface grinding, new asphalt shoulders, and bridge approach slab repair.
