- Annual Winner Trunk or Treat October 7, 2019The Winner United Methodist Church is hosting their annual “Trunk or “Treat” this Halloween season on Sunday, October 27th. The event will take place at the church parking lot from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. located at 301 W. 4th St. in Winner, South Dakota. All ages are welcome and Halloween costumes are encouraged.
- Yankees take 2-0 lead in ALDS over Twins October 6, 2019The Minnesota Twins fell to the New York Yankees 8-2. Twins now trail 2-0 in the series. The Twins will face off against the Yankees at home next on Monday. The Central South Dakota Invitational Ranch Rodeo will be taking place on tomorrow at 2 PM with Calcutta event to follow at the Murdo Rodeo Arena. ...
- Mountain Oyster Feed October 6, 2019There will be a free will mountain oyster feed on Saturday, October 12th with serving starting at 5:00 p.m. at the Burke VFW. All proceeds from the feed will go to Burke Schools’ Tornado Relief Fund.
- Todd County Elementary School Fall Fair October 5, 2019The Todd County Elementary School Fall Fair will take place Tuesday, October 8th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the school. The fair will include game, prizes, arts and crafts. Also, the girls’ basketball team will have a home game at the gym during that time.
