- Cub Scouts picking up items this weekend November 14, 2023Local Cub Scouts will be going door to door this Saturday, November 18th as they will be picking up non-perishable food items for their annual scouting food drive. They will start pickup items at 9:30am. All donations will stay local.
- Cornhusker Football on 1260 this weekend November 14, 2023We will be back with Nebraska Cornhusker Football coverage this Saturday on Country 1260 AM! Nebraska will hit the road and play at the Wisconsin Badgers. Kickoff time is at 6:30pm. Our coverage will start at approximately 5:25 with our Husker Prelude to the Pre-Game.
- State Volleyball starts Thursday November 13, 2023Beginning on Thursday, all three classes of State Volleyball Tournaments will get underway in Rapid City! Locally, in the State A Volleyball Tournament, four seeded Platte/Geddes will take on five seeded Dell Rapids at 1:45. - Winter Wonderland Display coming to Brule County November 13, 2023The 2023 Winter Wonderland Display is coming to Brule County starting December 1st! The Sparkle Committee is putting on the display. You can drive through the light display at the American Creek Park all throughout the holiday season the river city! If your group is interested in having a display, contact Donna Buche at 680-1202.
- Mid Winter Fair coming up November 25th in Gregory November 12, 2023The 2023 Mid Winter Fair is coming up on Saturday, November 25th at the Gregory Auditorium. The event will run from 9am to 4pm. There will be numerous vendors to explore! Santa will be there from noon to 2pm. Breakfast and lunch will be served by the after prom committee.
