- Summer Nights set for July 10th in Winner July 6, 2025The Winner Area Chamber of Commerce will host Summer Nights on Thursday, July 10th on Main Street in Winner from 6-9pm. The Dirty Boot Band will provide the entertainment for the evening. There will numerous food vendors to explore, along with entertaining acts that include Special K the Clown, Balloon Twister and much more.

- White River to host rodeo next weekend July 5, 2025The 113th annual White River Frontier Days Rodeo will take place July 11th through the 13th. The rodeo will begin at 7pm the nights of July 11th and 12th. Slack on Sunday the 13th will begin at 10am. The rodeo will feature mutton bustin’, ranch broncs and a candy scramble for the kids.

- Fireworks Display in Platte tonight July 4, 2025Tonight, there will be a fireworks display at the Platte Baseball field, after the Killer Tomatoes battle Corsica/Stickney. The game will start at 7:30pm. The Platte Volunteer Fire Department teamed with the Killer Tomatoes to help shoot off the fireworks.
