- Dan Aaker inducted into South Dakota Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame March 28, 2026Congratulations to former Winner Football Coach Dan Aaker on being inducted into the South Dakota Football Coaches Association’s Hall of Fame Class! Aaker was officially inducted into the Hall of Fame on Friday night during the annual banquet that was held in Brookings.
- Grass Fire Saturday morning in Tripp County March 28, 2026A grass fire was reported Saturday morning at South Ideal Housing in Tripp County. The Winner Volunteer Fire Department was able to 100 percent contain the fire at approximately Noon Central. A red flag warning is in effect for most of South Central South Dakota through 7pm tonight.
