The Girls Class ‘A’ All-State Basketball teams have been revealed. Making first team all-state are: Lexi Wadsworth of Hamlin, Haley Rithmiller of Webster Area, Morgan Koepsell of McCook Central/Montrose, Dru Gylten of St. Thomas More, Madysen Vlastuin from Lennox and Jessi Giles of Madison. Locally, Todd County’s Caelyn Valandra was named to second team all-state! Joining Caelyn on the second team are Haleigh Melstad of Vermillion, Karlee McKinney from Tea Area, Peyton Wingert of Dakota Valley, Jayda Knuppe from Dell Rapids and Emma Paul of Dell Rapids. Making third team all-state: Kadye Fernholz of Miller, Carly Granum of Sioux Valley, Caryssa Mielitz of Milbank Area, Janae Kolden from Clark/Willow Lake, Tariq Brown Otter of McLaughlin and Jayden Bies of St. Thomas More.
