At the Parkston Invite in Mitchell on Friday, Ben Akin of Elk Point/Jefferson was the medalist shooting a 72. Winner’s Carter Craven shot an 80 and finished 17th. Jalen Tideman of Winner shot an 81, while Cooper Craven of Winner carded an 82. Chase McQuirk was Chamberlain’s top golfer as he came away with an 84. Dakota Valley won the team title. Winner was seventh as a team and Chamberlain was 15th.

Kingston DeSersa and Noah Vanderwalker of White River finished fifth and sixth overall.Tahca Zephie of Mahpiya Luta won the girls race in 22:25:2. BreAna Aske of Jones County was third, while Amya Prue of White River was fifth.
At the Hoven Invite, Della Ernst of Herreid/Selby Area won the girls race in 20:20:07. Micah Reede of Lemmon won the boys race in 17:40:54.
