We had a couple of legion baseball games that took place locally last night. Ainsworth was able to defeat Valentine by a final score of 10-2. In Platte, Parkston was able to hold off Platte/Geddes by a final score of 14-12. Riley Hoffman, Riggs Priebe and Kory Peters had two hits apiece for Platte. In little league play last night, the Clearfield 2 Rookies were able to hold off Burke, 1-0. The Gregory Minors beat Burke, 12-4 and the Burke Majors beat Gregory, 8-5.
