Day 1 of the Minors Baseball Tournament was held in Colome Wednesday. Gregory 2 beat Presho, 3-0. Mission scored an 8-2 victory over Valentine. Gregory 1 defeated Colome, 1-0 in a play-in contest. Burke beat Winner Gold in a play-in game, 9-0. Last night, Clearfield beat Burke, 10-1 and Gregory 1 got past Winner Purple, 1-0. In the girls 18 and under softball tournament last night, Burke was crowned champions. They beat Clearfield, 19-0. Gregory beat Clearfield in the other game that was held by a final score of 11-1. In Junior Teener Baseball last night, Gregory beat Lyman, 10-4. The Gregory Teeners defeated Lyman, 11-0 in Kennebec. Teener Baseball last night, Platte beat Corsica in eight innings, 7-6.
