Family Fun Day to happen in Colome this Saturday

There will be a home school information and family fun day this Saturday, July 13th at the Sportsman’s Lodge on Main in Colome. Doors will open at 9am, with speakers starting at 9:30am. Activities will be happening for kids to enjoy, and Skatetown will open at 10am. Lunch will be available nearby, or your welcome to bring a sack lunch. Door prizes will be up for grabs along with curriculum and books for sale as well. For more information, call 728-2456.

BBQ Pit Row and Car show coming up in Winner

The Winner Area Chamber of Commerce will hold their Barbecue Pit Row event, along with the Frontier Motors Car Show on Saturday, July 27th on Main Street in Winner. Cooks will be setup and cooking ribs, pork butt and brisket. You can signup for the event during business hours at the Chamber Office. The Kids Q Contest is back this year too.

Frontier Days Rodeo to happen next weekend in White River

The 113th annual White River Frontier Days will take place July 12th through the 14th at the Frontier Rodeo Arena. Friday, the rodeo will start at 7pm. Saturday, the parade will start at 11am, with the rodeo getting underway at 7pm. Sunday, slack will start at 10am. Mutton Bustin, Ranch Broncs and a candy scramble will be taking place as well.

Poker run set for tomorrow

North Star Abate will be holding a poker run this Saturday, July 6th. The event will start and end at the Pheasant Bar in Winner. Registration will start at 11am and everyone will depart at Noon. All vehicles are welcome to participate.
