We want to remind you that the Colome Township Meeting will not be held today. It has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 2nd starting at 7pm at the First Fidelity Bank Community Room in Colome.

There will be a blood drive in White Lake this Thursday, March 3rd from 2:30-6:15 at the American Legion. To make an appointment you can call Joyce at 249-2472. The Gregory High School Music Boosters will be holding a “Dinner and a Show” on Tuesday, March 15th at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium. You must get your tickets in advanced at First Fidelity Bank, Bankwest, Consumer’s Federal Credit Union or at the Gregory High School Office. All of the proceeds will go toward the 2017 music trip to Chicago.

If you are looking to have a great time for St. Patrick’s weekend, checkout Presho! The 34th annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration will take place on Saturday, March 19th. Registration for the Shamrock Shuffle will begin at 10am at Jet Lanes.

The Winner Bowling Center will be holding their House Championships tomorrow! The bowling on Saturday will get underway at 2pm. There will be a calcutta tonight after league bowling wraps up. Best of luck to all bowlers that will be in action!

You can checkout a new movie this weekend in Gregory County! Showing this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Hipp Theatre in Gregory is the movie “Norm of the North”. Shows Friday through Sunday will begin at 7:30.  Ken Jeong and Rob Schneider are two of the stars in the movie.

ESA Beta Alpha invites you to the first annual Paint N’ Pour event on Saturday, March 5th starting at 1:30 at the Winner American Legion! The cost is $25 and registration forms can be picked up at This ‘N That, the City Office, Chamber Office and at the Legion. A used prom dress and suits sale will take place at the First Fidelity Bank in Colome this Saturday from 10am-2pm, and on Sunday from 2-4pm. If you are interested in passing on some of your dresses or suits please contact Linda at 840-8000 or Kathy at 842-0189. Dresses can be dropped off anytime after 8am Saturday.

The Burke Music Boosters’ fruit sale fundraiser is underway until February 29th, and will be delivered on March 18th. To order fruit contact any 6th through 12th grade brand or choir member, or call Nikki or Suzette at 775-8290.

The Catholic Church in Platte will be holding a soup supper tomorrow from 5-7pm at the Fellowship Hall. You can stop by and enjoy some excellent homemade soup, sandwiches and desserts on Wednesday. It is a free will offering event and everyone is welcome to attend.
