Meeting to take place on Thursday in Bonesteel
The Mid Missouri River Prescribed Burn Association will be having a meeting this Thursday at 7pm at the Bonesteel Community Room. This meeting is open to anyone interested in controlling cedar trees with prescribed burning or would like a little more information on prescribed burning.

Don’t forget that the Winner Methodist Church will hold their annual President’s Day Dinner tonight from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Church. They will serve a roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings, including pie! The Colome School Administration and School Board will be holding a public meeting this evening starting at 5pm in the Science Room in the Gym, to allow the public input into moving the 6th grade from the elementary to another building. The Lyman School Board will meet tonight. The meeting will be at the regular location in Presho. The Burke Legion will hold a meeting tonight at the VFW in Burke starting at 8pm. The Gregory County Historical Society will meet at the Burke Civic Center tonight. The meeting will begin at 7pm. There will be a blood drive in Platte today. It will run from Noon-5:30 at the Platte Community Center.

Come shoot the bull at the 13th annual Bullnanza at the Tripp County 4-H Center in Winner today! The event will run from 10am-4pm. Speaking will be Dr. Covey and Jacob Peterson. Producers from across our area will be showcasing pens of bulls and heifers. There will be numerous door prizes and great concessions as well!
Video Predator Calling Contest to happen in Winner tomorrow
The annual Winner area Video Predator Calling Contest will take place tomorrow in Winner! A rules meeting and calcutta will be held tonight at Sargent’s starting at 7pm. All kills this weekend must be taped, and no running or gunning is allowed. Up to three man teams are allowed to participate and the entry fee is $150 per team, which includes a buffet style dinner tomorrow night. If you have questions call Jeff’s Gun Vault at 842-4867.

Todd County High School sponsoring a free application for federal student aid
Tonight, the Todd County High School will be sponsoring a free application for federal student aid during their family night for all senior students and parents. Families will need to bring their W-2’s for this or last year to process the financial aid application program. It will be held at the Library from 5-6:30.
