There will be a blood drive in Winner on Wednesday, March 23rd from 12:30-6:30, and on Thursday, March 24th from 8am-1pm at the Winner National Guard Armory. The drive is sponsored by Winner High School. To make an appointment call Kelly at 842-8125.

The Winner School District would like to invite all parents/guardians of Winner students to attend parent teacher conferences on Tuesday, March 22nd from 4-6:30pm, and on Thursday, the 24th from 4-6:30 in the classrooms. If you are unable to attend, please contact the school to setup times for you to meet with your child’s teachers.

The Witten firemen will hold their annual soup supper and pie auction this Saturday, March 19th at the Witten Community Hall. They will serve from 5:30 to 7:30 with the auction to begin at 6:30. A freewill offering will be taken at the event. Come out and support the firemen!

Winner Regional Healthcare Center will be having an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 26th at the Winner City Park! An Easter parade will begin at 2pm followed by the the Easter egg hunt. There will also be pictures with the Easter Bunny! Please bring your own baskets to the event. The rain location will be the Winner Elementary Gym.

The Taste of Winner has been rescheduled to Thursday, March 31st at the Winner Bowling Center. The event will run from 6-8pm. Categories will be appetizer, chili and dessert. There will also be a beef basket challenge sponsored by the Southern Belle Cattlewomen. It is only five dollars for all you can eat! To enter call the Chamber Office at 842-1533.

A free farm finance clinic will be taking place today in Valentine. Farmers and ranchers are invited to attend the clinic and meet with experienced ag law attorneys and ag financial counselors. If you have questions this morning you can call Michelle at 1-800-464-0258.

There will  be fun filled activities that will be taking place during the week of St. Patrick’s Day in Gregory! A St. Patrick’s Dance will be held at the Gregory Auditorium on Saturday, March 19th. Doors will open at 7pm. The Dueling Pianos and the Andy Gibson Band will be performing!

We want to remind you that the Region 24 Emergency Management Board will be meeting today at the Keya Paha County Courthouse Commissioner room. The meeting will get underway at 1pm for the March meeting.
