The Pix Theater in Winner has a fun weekend lined up! They will be showing the new Moana 2 movie this weekend. Shows will be at 7:30pm tonight and Monday Nights. Sunday’s matinee will begin at 4pm. Today at 4pm they will show The Grinch. There will also be a meet and greet with the Grinch at the Pix beginning at 3:30.

The Chamberlain/Oacoma Area Chamber of Commerce will hold their Festival of Trees for the entire month of December! The theme is “Christmas through the Decades”. You can pick up a tree map at the Chamber Office, and vote on your favorite tree!

Last night, there was a fire in Winner. The fire was a structure fire on the west side of town at 3rd and Taft. We’ll bring you further details as they come available to us.

ROSEBUD ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE OF GREGORY AND FRONTIER MOTORS OF WINNER HAVE ONCE AGAIN TEAMED UP FOR THEIR 23RD ANNUAL CEREAL DRIVE! THE CEREAL DRIVE IS ONGOING THROUGH DECEMBER 23RD. YOU CAN DROP OFF CEREAL AT EITHER ROSEBUD ELECTRIC IN GREGORY, OR AT FRONTIER MOTORS IN WINNER, AND THE CEREAL WILL BE DONATED TO LOCAL FOOD PANTRIES.

The Platte Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Cowboy Christmas Event on Saturday, November 30th at the Platte/Geddes School Gyms from 10am to 3pm. Both gyms will be filled with over 60 total vendors! Santa will be there to take pictures with kids from 11am to 1pm, and there will also be lunch from 11am to 1pm

The Valentine Chamber invites you to their Heart of Christmas celebration today, with Santa and his reindeer set to appear from 1-4pm at Security First Bank! There’s also a Christmas Tree decorating contest from 4 to 6pm at the Vet’s Club, and Parade of Lights will begin at 6pm. On Sunday, their annual Holiday Preview will take place from 1 to 5pm.
