Results from the Scotland CC Invite

Congratulations to Chamberlain’s Ella Byers on winning the girls race yesterday at the Scotland Cross Country Invitational! The Winner Area girls won the team title as they collected 15 points.  Burke/South Central’s Kray Person won the boys race in Scotland and Gregory’s Aaron Voight finished second. Ethan/Parkston won the boys team title while Burke/South Central came in second place and Gregory was third.

State Rodeo Finals coming up in Valentine this weekend!

The 2016 Nebraska State Rodeo Association Finals will take place at the Cherry County Fairgrounds in Valentine, Nebraska this weekend! The Rodeo Finals will be held September 9th through the 11th. The first performance on Friday will take place at 6pm and the theme is ‘Tough Enough to Wear Pink’. On Saturday, steer roping will get things kicked off at 9am. Second performance for the rodeo will start at 6pm as the theme will be ‘Patriot Night- Red, White and Blue. Sunday, the final performance will start at 1pm.

Vikings Visit returns today!

Tune in today and tonight for another edition of ‘Vikings Visit’ with Chris Doski! Chris and a local guest will break down the Teddy Bridgewater injury, the acquisition of Sam Bradford and expectations for Minnesota as they get ready for their regular season opener this Sunday against the Tennessee Titans on the road. Vikings Visit will air at around 3:45 on Country 1260 and at around 7:10pm on 93.7FM!

Attend the Ranch Rodeo in Winner today!

Don’t forget that the 10th annual Tripp County Fairboard Ranch Rodeo will be taking place this afternoon at the Tripp County Fairgrounds starting at 1:30! Four person teams will be in action today as they will be competing for trophy buckles and one thousand dollars in added purse! Bring the whole family as it will be fun for everyone in attendance!

We will have Week 2 High School Football coverage come your way this Friday from Gregory and Winner! A big 9AA clash will take place at Mike Dacy Field in Gregory when the Bon Homme Cavaliers take on the Gregory Gorillas. Pre-game coverage with Chris Doski will begin at 6:30 on 93.7FM. On Country 1260 Friday, Scott and Brett will have the call for the Wagner at Winner contest. Pre-game coverage will begin at around 6:35.
