Burke Royal Softball players hosting a couple of events today

The Burke Royal Softball team is holding a car wash from 9am-5pm today at the Burke Civic Center. The cost is ten dollars and they will wash the inside and outside of all vehicles. Also today, a dinner on main fundraiser will take place from 11am-2pm at the Civic Center. That event is also being sponsored by the Royal Softball team. Come help support the softball teams in Burke today!

Aberdeen leads the nation in attendance in Division 2!

ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) – The Northern State University men’s and women’s basketball programs both led the nation in average attendance this past season, for the ninth year in a row.

The women’s team drew an average of 2,880 fans per game and the men’s team 3,346 fans. Both were tops in NCAA Division II.

Youth Outdoor Day set for this weekend in Winner!

Winner’s Youth Outdoor Fishing Day will take place at the Winner Youth Bass Pond on Saturday, June 11th. Registration will be held from 8-9am. Weigh-in and prizes will be handed out at 1pm, and a free lunch will follow that is sponsored by Bankwest. The kids fishing tournament is open to age groups 3-6, 7-10 and 11-15.
