Aberdeen leads the nation in attendance in Division 2!

ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) – The Northern State University men’s and women’s basketball programs both led the nation in average attendance this past season, for the ninth year in a row.

The women’s team drew an average of 2,880 fans per game and the men’s team 3,346 fans. Both were tops in NCAA Division II.

Youth Outdoor Day set for this weekend in Winner!

Winner’s Youth Outdoor Fishing Day will take place at the Winner Youth Bass Pond on Saturday, June 11th. Registration will be held from 8-9am. Weigh-in and prizes will be handed out at 1pm, and a free lunch will follow that is sponsored by Bankwest. The kids fishing tournament is open to age groups 3-6, 7-10 and 11-15. Every kid that participates will receive a prize to take home. If you have any questions you can contact DB’s Bait and Tackle at 842-2199 or Eric Storms at 840-7624.
