Day 2 of State Track and Field from Friday in Sioux Falls:

*Emily Diekmann of Burke won the Girls Class B High Jump with a leap of 5-02. Maleena Brave of White River was runner up, while Kamaria Krogman of White River tied for fifth.
*Paige Bull of Burke won the Girls Class B Discus with a throw of 145-02.
*Iker Diaz Montilla of Burke won the Boys Class B High Jump with a leap of 6-05. Gregory’s Daniel Mitchell was runner up while his teammate Colt Keiser placed fourth.
*In the Girls Class A 2 mile Run, Autumn Baker of Kimball/White Lake placed fourth, while Kinsey Evans of Chamberlain was fifth.
*In the Boys Class B 2 mile run, Gregory’s Luke Barreto placed sixth, while Colome’s Joseph Laprath was eighth.
*In the Girls Class B 800 meter run, Gregory’s Asia VanDerWerff placed seventh.
*In the Boys Class B 800, Adrik Schoon of Jones County finished runner up.

Region 3A Girls Golf Monday in Mitchell

Chamberlain’s Alexis Cronk was the medalist as she carded an 88. Trey Speer of Chamberlain was runner up with a 90. Leila Balsiger of  Winner Area was fourth with a 93. Grace Root of Winner Area was fifth with a 96, while Ava Craven of Winner Area was sixth with a 99. Chamberlain won the team title by three strokes over Winner Area.

 

Region 6B Golf in Rapid City

Wyatt Larson of McIntosh was the medalist with a 73. Bryson One Star of White River was third with an 83. Philip won the team title. In the girls tournament, Jones County’s Kamri Kittleson was the medalist as she shot an 85. Jones County won the team title.

 

Region 5B Golf in Pierre

Wesley Wittler of Sully Buttes was the medalist on the boys side as he carded a 72. Ipswich won the team title. In the Girls Tournament, Jayce Pugh of Miller was the medalist with a 75. Miller won the team title.
