The 9-1 Colome Cowboys will travel to Corsica this Saturday to battle the 10-0 Jaguars of Corsica/Stickney in a 9B semi-final battle! Colome has been impressive on both sides of the football this season. They are coming off a big win over Hamlin on Monday, 38-8. The Cowboys’ lone loss came in Week 0 against the Jaguars, 16-14. Colome’s defense has five shutouts on the season and their defensive line has been getting good, consistent pressure on opposing quarterbacks for most of the year. The Cowboys have scored 36 points or more since the loss to Corsica/Stickney. The Jaguars (10-0) are coming off a close win over Oldham-Ramona/Rutland on Monday, 29-26. They won their opening round game against Burke/South Central, 57-6. Like Colome, Corsica/Stickney has five shutouts on the season. Doski and Dan Cahoy will provide the coverage on 93.7FM starting at 6:30 as kickoff is scheduled for 7pm on Saturday.
