The Track and Field season got underway Tuesday for Class ‘B’ schools as the Dan Lennon Invite was held in Vermillion. Locally, Kray Person of Burke/South Central won the 3200 meter run. Colome’s Matt Campbell started off the season strong as he won the boys shot put. In the girls 3200 meter run, Lacey Person of Burke/South Central finished eighth. In the boys triple jump, Kelly O’Bryan of Colome was fourth while Tyrone Mizner of Burke/South Central finished fifth.
