The Cougars (5-15) looked strong last night in their opening round win over Avon, 76-63. Burke/South Central played Colome tough a couple of weeks ago in Burke when they fell 53-42. The 15-4 Cowboys look to have another deep postseason run. Colome has three players averaging double figures in the scoring column- Kelly O’Bryan is averaging 14.1 points a game, Kolten Salonen is averaging 11.8 while Holdin Thieman is putting up 14.1 points a contest. The winner of tonight’s game will advance to Friday’s District Championship Game at the Corn Palace against the winner of the Marty at Gregory game.
