Two Region 7A  semi-final boys basketball games will be held tonight- Winner at Little Wound and St. Francis at Pine Ridge. We will provide you with coverage of the Warrior-Mustang game on Magic 93 starting with our in-depth pre-game show forty five minutes prior to opening tip at 6:45. Winner (12-9) was able to lock down defensively in their opening round region game Monday night in Red Cloud as they came away with a 52-48 victory. The Warriors look to keep playing solid as a unit as they have won their last four games in a row. The Mustangs (13-5) struggled in their last two games of the season as they fell to  Dakota Valley and Pine Ridge. The winner of tonight’s game will march on to the Sweet 16 on March 7th. In the other Region 7A semi-final game tonight, St. Francis will play at Pine Ridge. The Warriors (14-6)  are arguably playing their best basketball of the season now as they have won their last seven in a row. St. Francis had a very impressive opening round win on Monday over Todd County, 85-56. Pine Ridge (16-5)  was able to beat Bennett County on Monday, 73-46. The Thorpes and Warriors met twice during the regular season and Pine Ridge won both meetings.
