SESDSS Golf from Thursday

The Platte-Geddes Boys and Burke/South Central Girls Golf teams won the team titles Thursday at the Southeast South Dakota Small School Tournament in Yankton. On the girls side, Taylee Indahl of Burke/South Central finished first overall as she shot an 82, one stroke ahead of Chantel Brende of Baltic. Tressa Bull of Burke/South Central came in third as she shot an 85. As a team, Burke/South Central shot a 167. Mount Vernon/Plankinton was second with a 192 and Platte/Geddes came in third with a 197. On the boys side, Alec Johnson of Bon Homme finished first overall by shooting a 74, one stroke ahead of Payton Bailey of Bridgewater/Emery. Riley Hoffman of Platte/Geddes was third as he shot a 79 and his teammate Brody Boltjes was fourth with an 80. Gregory’s Jon Bakke finished eighth by shooting an 85. Platte/Geddes won the team title by shooting a 254, eight strokes ahead of Bon Homme.
