At the Winner Invite on Friday at the Winner Country Club, Avery Birkel of Gregory won the girls race in a time of 24:19:64. Alexis Klein of Burke was second, while BreAna Aske of Jones County was third and Avery Manke of Winner placed fourth. Elijah Haukaas of White River won the boys race in a time of 18:30:33. Winner’s Carter Peppel finished runner up.
